The Annual Northside Mardi Gras celebration is from February 15th - 25th. 25+ businesses in Pittsburgh's Northside will be featuring New Orleans/Mardi Gras-inspired food/drink/retail specials and live entertainment! Check out the schedule at - www.pittsburghnorthside.com/mardigras
The 11 days of Northside Mardi Gras fun culminates in one big celebration with the Official Northside Mardi Gras Fat Tuesday Party!
There will be a kickoff with Colonel Eagleburger's Highstepping Goodtime Band, live music by Dixie Doc and Pittsburgh Dixieland Allstars, dancing, great New Orleans-style food, King Cake, family activities, the crowning of our newest Mardi Gras King, Brian O'Neill, and much more!
All proceeds from the 50/50 raffle and king cake will go towards Work, a nonprofit organization that accompanies families in Haiti out of poverty through good, dignified jobs. They work in one community called Menelas, that encompasses the largest open landfill in the country. Menelas is also the official sister neighborhood to the North Side of Pittsburgh!
